Maximum transition payment increased
The transition payment is subject to a statutory cap (Section 7:673 of the Dutch Civil Code). This cap can be raised each year. As of 1 January 2022, the maximum transition payment is EUR 86,000 gross, or one gross annual salary if that amount is higher. In 2021, the maximum transition payment was EUR 84,000 gross.
