Marie-Louise Lugard – van Basten Batenburg
Marie-Louise has nearly 30 years of experience as a lawyer, most of which in the field of (international) labor law. Marie-Louise worked for the first 13 years as an attorney at Loyens & Loeff (and legal predecessors) in Rotterdam. There, during her senior year, she also served as in-house counsel. After subsequently working at the law firm Borsboom & Hamm for 5 years, she continued her (international) employment law practice at the firm Eversheds Sutherland (and legal predecessors) in Rotterdam for the next 10 years. There she worked mostly for large national and international companies, but also for directors, employees in the higher (management) segment and other private individuals with labor law problems.
It is the balance between all the different cases and clients that ensure the profession never fails to inspire her.
