Yvonne Sørensen
Yvonne studied law in Leiden and then worked for eight years at NautaDutilh within the Employment Law practice group. Yvonne worked then subsequently two years at the reputable (international) law firm Loyens & Loeff within the Payroll tax Practice Group & Labour Law. In 2005, Yvonne founded her own law firm. Yvonne has completed the post-academic education for employment law (PALA) and PALA-Plus. In 2017, Yvonne completed her mediation training and has been working as an MfN registered mediator alongside her law practice ever since. Yvonne specializes in dismissal law (including statutory directors), international relations in employment law and employment law counseling in reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions. She has provided legal assistance to many nationally operating companies in the catering industry, as well as international companies listed to the stock exchange, hospitals, housing corporations and MKB (small and medium-sized companies). She assists CEO’s, CFO’s, COO’s, statutory directors, managers and other (key) employees. Yvonne has extensive experience in mediating disputes in the field of cooperation and separation. She is a member of the specialist associations VRAA and VAAN. Besides having a broad advisory and litigation practice, she regularly publishes columns and annotations in the field of employment law. She is a board member of Friends of CHIO and the Rotterdam Mediators Association. Yvonne lives with her husband and three children in Rotterdam.
