Claudia Janssen

Claudia is sinds 1997 werkzaam als advocaat, waarvan ruim 17 jaar bij een gerenommeerd (internationaal) advocatenkantoor (Loyens & Loeff) en sinds 2015 onder de vlag van een eigen kantoor. Zij was één van de oprichters van het corporate & commercial boutique kantoor in Rotterdam (Quint Legal) (2015-2018) en is vanaf 2019 partner bij Sørensen Advocaten.

Claudia is gespecialiseerd in (internationaal) contractenrecht, vastgoed- en installatiebouwprojecten en commercial litigation. Zij heeft ruime ervaring opgedaan met het opzetten van commerciële contractuele relaties (samenwerkingen, distributie/sales, procurement, licenties, algemene voorwaarden), het begeleiden van construction & engineering projecten (turnkey, EPC, Fidic, UAV-GC) en het behandelen van contractuele geschillen. Claudia is lid van de Vereniging voor Bouwrecht (-Advocaten), de Vereniging voor Procesrecht en de Vereniging voor Distributie-, Franchise- en Agentuurrecht.

Op grond van deze registratie is zij verplicht elk kalenderjaar volgens de normen van de Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten tien opleidingspunten te behalen op ieder geregistreerd hoofdrechtsgebied.

Claudia has been working as a lawyer in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, since 1997, of which 17 years associated with a reputable big (international) law firm (Loyens & Loeff) and since 2015 as a partner of a boutique law firm. She was one of the founders of the corporate & commercial boutique law firm in Rotterdam (Quint Legal) (2015-2018) and, as of 2019, she is a partner at the boutique law firm Sørensen Advocaten.

Claudia is specialized in (international) contract law, private construction law and commercial litigation. She has ample experience in setting-up contractual relationships (commercial co-operations, distribution/sales, procurement, licenses, general conditions), legally supporting construction & engineering projects (turnkey, EPC, Fidic, UAV-GC) and dealing with contractual disputes. Claudia is a member of the Construction Law Association (including the Society for Construction Law Attorneys), the Dutch Association for Procedural Law and the Association for Distribution, Franchise and Agency Law.
