Maximum transition payment increased

The transition payment is subject to a maximum (Article 7:673 of the Dutch Civil Code). This maximum can be increased every year. As of 1 January 2022, the maximum transition payment is EUR 86,000 gross or a gross annual salary, whichever is higher. In 2021, the maximum transition payment was EUR 84,000 gross.
